In addition to providing the Discovery
Series for Young Audiences performances which reach over 25,000
children a year from 5 states, Theatre Bristol is proud to announce
its continued efforts in working with children of our area by
increased activities in our program The School of the Arts.
Theatre Bristol is on a mission to increase awareness of the
program and obtain funding to support our ongoing scholarship
program to assist children otherwise unable to attend events.
Showbiz Saturdays
One of the more prominent parts of The
School of the Arts is Showbiz
Saturdays. Showbiz Saturdays is a day filled with excitement and new experiences.
Youth learn about the many parts of the performing arts - dance,
singing, painting, make-up and much more! Each session has diverse
workshops that encourage children to explore new ideas and grow
in self-confidence as they work with one another. Our talented
instructors possess numerous talents in several arts areas that
can boast of both good preparation and a wealth of experience
in their respective fields.
These are thematic half-day or daylong sessions where youngsters
explore theatre arts through classes and workshops. Call (423)
968-4977 for more information.
