Meet the Couples

 

 

Richard C. Fleenor (ERNIE CUSACK), from Damascus, VA is pleased to be back at Theatre Bristol after 10 years. Previous Theatre Bristol credits include Annie Get Your Gun and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Other theatre experience includes Virginia Highlands Community College, Emory and Henry College and the Olde West Dinner Theatre. Special thanks to my mom for her sustained support. I dedicate my performance to my father.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dottie Havlik (COOKIE CUSACK), Bristol, TN is the publications coordinator for 1st Presbyterian Church. Her previous Theatre Bristol experience is varied including the Cowardly Lion in The Wizard of Oz, Madame Arcati in Blithe Spirit, Charlotte in Charlotte’s Web and Mrs. Mullins in Carousel. Special thanks to Emily Anne for thinking of me and to my family for not freaking out.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Glenn Patterson (GLENN COOPER), Bristol, VA is the Music Director Abingdon United Methodist Church. In his spare time he enjoys whitewater rafting and hiking. Previous experience includes A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Macbeth, The Sound of Music, The Music Man, Oklahoma and others.

 

 

 

 

Debbie Shoun (CASSIE COOPER), Kingsport, TN is making her Theatre Bristol debut in Rumors. Debbie has numerous theatre credits with Kingsport Theatre Guild, Johnson City Community Theatre and Highland Dinner Theatre. In her spare time she enjoys studying paranormal phenomena and tennis.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Barry Serber (LENNY GANZ), Bristol, TN is pleased to be back on stage at Theatre Bristol after recently appearing as Horace Vandergelder in Hello, Dolly! last June. Other theatre experience includes Off-Off Broadway productions of Three Plays at Sea and The Panda. Special thanks to you the audience and for Theatre Bristol for being here!

Carol Serber (CLAIRE GANZ), Bristol, TN is making her Theatre Bristol debut in Rumors. Carol is a retired chef and now enjoys learning about Harry Potter from her 3 wonderful grandchildren. She is returning to the stage after a brief 55 year hiatus, previously appearing as a Princess in her 1st grade class. Special thanks to Gary for his enthusiasm and laughter, the Cast, Crew and Audience for their help and support, and especially to my Husband who held my hand.

 

 

 

 

 

Mark Preston Stewart (KEN GORMAN), Meadowview, VA is returning to Theatre Bristol after a brief 10 year hiatus. Previous experience at Theatre Bristol includes The Music Man (‘86) and Jesus Christ Superstar (‘89). Other theatre credits include Virginia Highlands Community College. Special thanks to my mom, daughter, brother, friends and Gary Aday for tolerating and encouraging my behavior.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nicole Tuthill (CHRIS GORMAN), Bristol, TN previous Theatre Bristol experience includes Hello, Dolly (‘02) and Scrooge! (‘89). She has a BFA in Theatre from The University of Memphis and has numerous acting credits there as well as at The Barter and Germantown Community Theatre. Special thanks to my family and friends for their eternal love and support and to Dr. Harvey Jones for my beautiful smile.
