Just a Reminder!
Important bus parking procedures and chaperone policy listed below, for further information refer to the Theatre Bristol Blue Book.
Please remember to inform your bus drivers of the correct location to unload and load students (behind the Paramount Center for the Arts on Shelby Street) and where to park (the Norfolk and Southern railroad parking lot past the trainstation). Please share the map and instructions with your bus drivers. Thanks.
Please limit the number
of chaperones with your group. Every seat taken by a chaperone
robs a deserving child of the chance to see a performance. Remember,
your field trip is for the enrichment of the children. Please
make sure your chaperones understand that they won't be seated
with your class. All parents/chaperones will be seated
in our VIP section in the theatre, once all the students and teachers
are seated. Theatre Bristol reserves the right to limit the number
of chaperones attending a performance. Unfortunately, there may
instances when chaperones can't be seated due to the number of
students in attendence.
Bus Loading/Unloading:
Unload students and teachers on Shelby Street, behind the Paramount
Center for the Arts. Busses should unload students on Shelby
Street no later than 9:10 for the 9:30 show and no later than
11:10 for the 11:30 show. Please do your part to arrive on
time so we may start shows on time. Students and teachers, after
unloading, proceed to the Paramount Center for the Arts or Theatre
Bristol's ARTspace via Bank Street (the alley).
Special Needs:
Teachers/Aides accompanying special needs students may unload
directly in front of the Paramount Center for the Arts or Theatre
Bristol's ARTspace. Busses/Vans may then proceed to the unloading
zone or to the parking area.
Inclement Weather:
In the event of inclement weather, it is the responsibility of
the Lead Teacher or a school representative to call the Theatre
Bristol office, 423.968.4977, if you are going to be delayed or
must cancel.
