Talk about a time-proven audience-pleaser!
Try to Remember a time when this romantic charmer
wasnt enchanting audiences at New Yorks Sullivan
Street Playhouse. The Fantasticks is the longest-running musical
in the world, and with good reason: at the heart of its breathtaking
poetry and subtle theatrical sophistication is a purity and simplicity
that transcends cultural barriers. The result is a timeless fable
of love that manages to be nostalgic and universal at the same
time.

Rodgers & Hammersteins Cinderella
November 2, 3, 9, 10 & 11, 2007
A musical
at the Paramount Center for the Arts
The timeless enchantment of a magical
fairy tale is reborn with the Rodgers & Hammerstein hallmarks
of originality, charm and elegance. Originally presented on television
in 1957 starring Julie Andrews, Rodgers & Hammersteins
CINDERELLA was the most widely viewed program in the history
of the medium. Its recreations in 1965 starring Lesley Ann Warren,
and again in 1997 starring Brandy and Whitney Houston (and seen
by over 60 million viewers) were no less successful in transporting
new generations to the miraculous kingdom of dreams-come-true.
As adapted for the stage, with great warmth and more than a touch
of hilarity, the hearts of children and adults alike still soar
when the slipper fits. Musical Numbers include In My Own
Little Corner Do I Love You Because Youre Beautiful?
Tickets:
Adults $15, Seniors (over 62)/Students $12, Children (under 12)

This night in 1934 is the biggest
in the history of the Cleveland Grand Opera Company- world-famous
tenor Tito Morelli is to perform Othello at the gala season-opener.
Morelli sweeps in too late to rehearse with the company, and,
through a series of hilarious mishaps, he gets a double dose
of tranquilizers. His pulse is so low that Saunders and his assistant
Max believe he is dead. What to do? Saunders persuades Max to
get into Morellis costume and try to fool the audience
into thinking hes Il Stupendo. Morelli comes to and gets
into his other costume. Now two Othellos are running around in
costume and two women are running around in lingerie, each thinking
she is with Il Stupendo! A sensation in New York and London,
Lend Me A Tenor is guaranteed to leave your audiences teary-eyed
with laughter.

The scene is a nightclub in Berlin, as the 1920s are drawing
to a close. The Emcee welcomes the audience to the show and assures
them that, whatever their troubles, they will forget them at
the Cabaret. His songs provide wry commentary throughout the
show. On the train to Berlin we find Cliff, a young American
writer, and Ernst, a German who surprises Cliff by putting a
briefcase among Cliffs luggage at the German border. History
is in the process of being made. Musical numbers include It
Couldnt Please Me More Wilkommen Cabaret
Dont Tell Mama and Two Ladies.
After a failed romance with English showgirl, Sally Bowles, we
